This is officially my first entry
I am pleased to have finished the initial setup of my blog website. I still have to setup the translate plugin in order to translate english <-> french. (I will be editing/reviewing the files after they are translated) This website is made with Material for MkDocs as stated by the lovely footer at the bottom of your screen.
Things I still need to figure out:
- I need to get more comfortable with MD formating and syntax.
- Fix the weird Blog folder structure (Archive, categories etc...)
- Would linking an Obsidian Vault to my blog be something doable/an interesting thing to do
- Add the checklist plugin. (done 2026-09-22)
I want to give credits to one of my University professors, Prof Maximilian Schiedermeier for showing us the Mkdocs platform in his course INF2050, Software development tools and practices in which the whole course website is built on.
